PERFECT ADDITION FOR NORMAL TO DRY SKIN REGIMEN

Lately I’ve been trying the Prickly Pear Face Serum and the Palo Santo + Peru Balsam all purpose mist from Folie Apothecary since April and I wanted to give my honest opinion here:

  • The product is a must have for dry skin. This serum deeply penetrates and softens the skin. After just a few days of use, I noticed my skin was radiant and dewy! Unfortunately I couldn’t get a good use out of the product like I wanted to because my skin is now oily, EXTREMELY OILY! But, its summer time, & warm temps brings out the oils!

 

  • These two products, the serum and mist give my skin a luminous glow while tanning. I use the serum as body oil and spray my face and body with “the mist”. The mist is refreshing to use while getting kissed by the sun for several hours.

It was difficult to make it a part-time serum because I love how it smells.  The labels are accurate with the hints of argan & lavender. But, the pungent fragrances of eucalyptus and mint run rampant through my nasals. In spite of it’s potency, I still give this product 4/5 stars.

I have been tuning into Nikisha’s advice on health via social media for some time now and I love everything she stands for. She has this rare eclectic and elegant aesthetic. How could I not support a black woman who educates her following about health, both mental and physical, activism, beauty and fashion?
